We in the Emergency Room are committed to providing urgent and transparent humanitarian assistance to affected communities in West Darfur State, through

Food & Nutrition

Distribute emergency food rations and nutritional supplements Support community kitchens or feeding programs Monitor and address malnutrition, especially in children

Protection & Human Rights

Offer psychosocial support and trauma counseling Document and report human rights violations Provide legal aid and advocacy for displaced or marginalized groups Create safe reporting mechanisms for abuse or exploitation

Health & Medical Support

- Provide emergency medical care and trauma response - Set up mobile clinics and field hospitals in underserved areas - Distribute essential medicines and medical supplies - Support maternal and child health services

Education & Capacity Building

Support temporary learning spaces and school supplies Train teachers and community educators Offer vocational training and life skills programs

Livelihood & Economic Recovery

Distribute tools, seeds, and farming inputs Support small businesses and income-generating activities Facilitate cash-for-work or microfinance programs

Coordination & Community Engagement

About Us

WDECCR

The West Darfur Emergency Counseling Coordination Room is a humanitarian initiative dedicated to delivering urgent, impartial, and dignified support to communities affected by crisis across West Darfur State. We operate as a rapid-response coordination hub, mobilizing resources and expertise to meet the immediate and evolving needs of vulnerable populations.

Rooted in the principles of neutrality, independence, and respect for human dignity, our work is guided by a deep commitment to transparency, collaboration, and community empowerment. We partner with local actors, international organizations, and civil society networks to ensure that our interventions are timely, inclusive, and responsive to the realities on the ground.
